The Schwalbe Marathon is the original touring tyre and has been the main choice of commuters and tourers for many years. The tyre has been completely revised and untilises GreenGuard which is a 3mm-thick india rubber layer made up of recycled latex products that hugely reduces punctures. Its new sidewall construction can withstand cracking resulting from overloading for a very long time, and this durability is only enhanced by the new Endurance compound. The tyre is finished with a 3M Scotchlite reflective rim that provides added safety when riding at night.
